WHAT IS THE YOUNG LIONS CONFERENCE?

The Young Lions Conference (YLC) is an experience for students in grades 6-12. Our vision for YLC is to mobilize students to go and be the light of the world. With challenging bible teaching, powerful worship, and intentional small group conversation, we believe that YLC will be one of the most impactful experiences of your life!

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE AT THE YOUNG LIONS CONFERENCE?

There will be three main sessions, each one with live worship and a communicator. There will be four small group sessions throughout the weekend. Each small group will stay at a host home. Small groups will be gender and grade-specific, each with at least two adult small group leaders.

WHO IS PUTTING ON YLC?

Dayspring Baptist Church, Redemption Church, and Wilmer Baptist Church are partnering together to plan and execute the Young Lions Conference. All main sessions will be all together at the Mobile Convention Center. All small group sessions will in host homes or on the grounds of the convention center.

WHO CAN ATTEND YLC?

All students in grades 6th – 12th

WHEN DOES THE EVENT BEGIN AND END?

Check in opens at 5p at each local church on Friday, January 13th.
The last session ends at noon on Sunday, January 15th at each local church!

REGISTRATION –

HOW MUCH IS IT AND WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

$55 per student until November 3rd, $65 per student until December 1st, $75 through January 1st. This includes admission to all days and activities of the conference, all meals, and transportation throughout the weekend.

CAN REGISTRATIONS BE CANCELED OR TRANSFERRED?

Please direct all questions concerning registrations, cancelations, multiple student discounts, or scholarship information to the church you are registering with.

WILL THERE BE ANY EXTRA FEES?

Your registration fee covers everything you will need for the conference.

​

WHERE AND WHEN IS CHECK-IN?

At the local church you are registered with between 5-6p on Friday, January 13th, 2023.

​

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

– Bible, pen, and notebook 
– Extra money for other vendors and The Shop.
